Frequently asked questions
A little clarity.
Before we get started.

What kinds of projects can DDS help with?
Custom business apps and portals, digital logs and forms, Google Sheets systems, dashboards, reporting, and workflow automation. We first discuss whether your needs fit the project DDS can provide.
Do I need to know exactly what I want?
No. Explain what you do today, what is difficult, and what you would like to improve. We can use that discussion to identify useful features and define the scope.
Can we work together remotely?
Yes. DDS is based in Ohio and serves businesses across the United States. An on-site visit may be discussed depending on location and availability.
Can you improve a spreadsheet I already use?
Existing spreadsheets and workflows can be reviewed to see whether an update or a new tool makes sense. Discuss the file first, and remove confidential information before sharing a sample.
How much will my project cost?
Pricing depends on the agreed features, complexity, integrations, users, and delivery requirements. DDS provides a project-specific quote after reviewing the scope; there is no automatic price calculator.
How long does a project take?
Timing depends on the scope, current availability, required access, and review needs. Delivery expectations are discussed before approval rather than promised from an initial inquiry.
Will it work on phones, tablets, and computers?
The intended devices and browsers are reviewed for each project. Layout, features, and access requirements depend on the tool being built and are defined in the scope.
Will I receive instructions or training?
Customer-specific operating instructions, troubleshooting guidance, and training can be included in the agreed scope. Discuss whether you need digital instructions, printable instructions, or both.
What happens if I need help after delivery?
Contact DDS with a description of the problem and the tool involved. Included support, maintenance, availability, and any additional charges depend on your agreement.
Can I add features later?
You can discuss changes or additional tools after delivery. DDS reviews the requested work and agrees on any added scope, price, and timing before proceeding.
Does asking about a project commit me to payment?
An initial inquiry does not place an order. The project scope, pricing, and applicable agreement are reviewed before you approve work.
What should I send in my first message?
Your name, business name, a general description of your workflow, what you want to improve, and the best way to reach you. Do not include passwords, confidential customer records, or sensitive business data.
Why does the email link open an app chooser?
The email link uses the email application configured on your device. You can also copy the displayed DDS email address into your preferred email service. To write without an email app, choose Send a Message in the Contact section. For project details, choose Request a Quote.
